The Augers have been designed for drilling in dry soil and rock. Various teeth configurations are available for different soil and rock conditions. The geometry of the teeth arrangement is optimized for reaching excellent cutting performance. The auger design with double cut and single cut with tapper and flat bottom to drill in soft soil or in extreme rock strata.
The drilling buckets are designed specifically for drilling all types of soils & rock below ground. For drilling in a variety of soil & rock conditions swivelled bottom gates can be supplied with different types of teeth. The Double & Single opening of the swivelled bottom gate is facilitated by an automatic or manual tip mechanism. A ventilation pipe and tapper cylinder prevents the occurrence of a vacuum while lifting the tool.
Core barrels are used for cutting an annular ring in rock or concrete (also reinforced concrete). The centre core is usually broken with chisel, rock auger or cross cutter. The advantage of a core barrel is the concentration of the crowd force and torque on a small ring of cutting teeth. In Core barrel roller bits are typically use for drilling hardest and most abrasive rock conditions.
